Last year at this time we were told it was permanently c... read more We went to Plage de La Garoupe today and were pleasantly surprised to find that La Rocher was reopened. Last year at this time we were told it was permanently closed. We noticed Jeremy, a familiar friendly face and immediately made a reservation for lunch under the name “La vie en Rose”. I had the Salade Caesar which was delicious with an abundant amount of chicken. Albeit, the bacon a little under cooked for my tastes. My boyfriend had a Fresh Salade which had crevettes and segments of grapefruit and oranges which he thoroughly enjoyed. We shared a pichet of rose. Everyone who served us was genuinely friendly. Will return again and again. Highly recommended. Be sure to make a reservation.

The view from the tables close to the window is amazing so you can enjoy your food and a nice landscape at the same time. The selection of food is vast so you will find fish, salads, and different types of meat of course. I think that meat is the specialty of this restaurant but nevertheless the fish and salads were extremely good as well. The service is very good, with smiley people who are willing to provide a friendly and proper service. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food was very good. The size of the portions are adequate as well so you will feel satisfied with whatever you choose, I have a big appetite and one salad and lamb meat was enough for me without being excessive. I am very pleased with my experience at le Rocher and I can not do nothing more than highly recommend it.
