Unprepared for th... read more Stumbled across this little gem whilst walking through old town. It was a special tasting menu night, which sounded interesting so in we went. Unprepared for the sheer size of the portions, we battled happily through course after course, our bulging waistbands begging for it to stop. The portions were large enough to make the very reasonable price tag seem overly generous. The service was attentive but not overbearing with any requests being met with a pleasant of course. The atmosphere meant you knew it was a restaurant happily frequented by locals, which is always a great sign of quality. The only demerit was the apparent lack of any soft drinks listed on the drinks menu but as we were either underage or driving, it was no great issue.
