The Greyhound Inn - Corfe Castle

They had a large vegan menu and a good choice of desserts! The service was amazing!

We were visiting Corfe Castle (also the name of the town), and were famished. We asked the National Trust rep for advice and she suggested the Greyhound. We had the vegan dinner for two, which included breaded tofu, chips, hummus, pita, fried peppers and sweet potato falafel! Really quite good. They have many vegan items on the menu, and apparently a separate menu with only the vegan choices. Updated from previous review on 2018-07-13

Such a scandal that we knew they did not have the full vegan menu (oktober 2020), but still had good options, immersed on Tuesday afternoon to look for a family dinner on the following day and were said that we could not book outside of tables, but come before 3.30 after they have just served pizza. arrived wed 1.30, shown outside of a very friendly man we met at the door that I took to the manager went to ask for menus and were told that they did not serve food outside! no tables in the inner (preferably in the free at all), sitting over takeaway? but no. ends in the pub opposite with a bowl chips as just vegan option. will try again if it sound good. but disappoint.

Berg burger and options for children, great place close to the castle.

They did not have the vegan menu as it was the sausage and cider festival. my options were therefore limited to 1 main and 2 desserts. (normal vegan menu looks great, although lentil burger was delicious and in portions was pretty good. had sweet potatoes and two sauces (a chutney and a sweet bbq I think) chocolate brewery with kokosnusseis was good. it was warm and had poured nuts on the service was friendly but slow. total was eating very delokatiw
