A truly delightful culinary experience in a bucolic setting. A very friendly waitress, and a chef who takes the time to chat with customers at the end of the meal. Thank you for everything.
An absolute gem tucked away under the oak trees. We went for lunch on a quiet weekday in mid June and only two tables were filled, clearly the perks of coming during the off season. The setting is dreamy. You’re in a lush garden, butterflies fluttering around, crickets and seagulls in the background. It feels like you’re dining in someone’s backyard because, well… you are. The owners live right behind the restaurant and only open a few months in the summer before disappearing to travel the world. Goals, honestly. The food? Out of this world fresh. The kind of farm to table you wish existed everywhere but doesn’t (sorry, US). My wife had the vegetarian mezze, a colorful plate full of vibrant seasonal flavors. I went for the Épaule d’Agneau and it was melt in your mouth tender, perfectly seasoned and paired with vegetables so fresh they might have been picked minutes before. The two owners run the whole show, one in the kitchen and the other serving, and they are both incredibly kind. They radiate the laid back, passionate vibe you would expect from people who cook because they love it, not because they have to. It’s rare to find a place like this. Authentic, soulful and effortlessly charming. Worth planning your entire trip around. Five stars without hesitation.
