Wow...can't believe how poor this chippy has become.....ordered small fish and chips.....the chips were below average and the fish was so dry and the batter was as hard as rock....must have been there since lunch time......what a shame....it used to be a great chippy.....not now....Will try Studfall next time as I hear its pretty good.....disappointing!!! Popped in for a quick fish and chips on a Friday night, definitely popular as there was a reasonable queue. I ordered a small cod and chips, and two cans of Fanta lemon, which came to £11 which was very reasonable as the portion size was enough for two people. The cod was tasty and the batter was nice, and the chips were well portioned with some larger ones, and lots of little crispy ones which are my favourite. I have been here for fish and chips on many occasions and I am always surprised by the size of the fish potions.....massive ! Excellent value for money. Enough for 2 people.
