What Maggie1662016 dislikes about Poolside Cafe:
We have had their burger chips and salad in the past but on our last visit it was not as good. Previously the salad was on the plate and the burger very tasty. This time it was in a bun that you could not cut or chew, a couple of items of salad were added to the hot bun. I do not like warm lettuce. The burger this time was thin and had no flavour. The bun had been buttered making it very greasy. We will not be return... View all feedback.

We booked afternoon tea for 2 and booked it through Groupon. When we got there they knew nothing about it so we had to wait 20 minutes while they prepared some food. It was NOTHING like the picture on the Groupon page! Also the price we paid was the same as the cafe prices so no discount! Very basic food and surroundings! Staff were nice though.
Often call in for a drink bite to eat food selection is very good once it comes is very nice only fault with this place is the service which is very poor i had a wait of 30 minutes for my food order it was not busy for the food as i was the only one with a order number on the table
My sister went for an afternoon tea at the poolside cafe and it was not nice at all, stale sandwiches etc. However we went to priors hall golf club for an afternoon tea which is ran by the same place as the poolside cafe and it was so lovely. Nina is a real credit to the whole place so friendly and nothing is a problem.
My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant. The coffee was excellent, served hot in a generous-sized cup. The burgers I ordered came with a side salad and a generous portion of fries. Everything was delicious and piping hot. We definitely plan on returning. The cafe is bright and inviting, and it was quiet when we visited.
This restaurant showcases a blend of experiences, with quality and service fluctuating significantly. While some patrons praise the delicious food and attentive staff, highlighting standout dishes like kleftiko and mushroom starters, others express disappointment over long waits and inconsistent meal quality. Issues such as dirty tables and poor service have been noted, particularly during quieter hours. Additionally, the café’s inviting atmosphere and excellent coffee have garnered positive responses. Overall, while there are moments of culinary excellence, improvements in service and consistency are needed to fully restore its reputation and elevate the dining experience.

Starter and main dish are delicious. we didn't try this dessert. the staff are friendly. spacious seating area. beautiful clean toilet.
Visited this place as part of the team memory of a work. we were a group of , there was a good offer on the wee, eating took some time, even brotbretter came along with the starters when I expected they would come faster. the mushroom starter was delicious and so was the aubergine zucchini lasagne. Eat tasted great and we had a good time, staff were very politely cared for us.
Went there for a dinner with a friend. It was good decision. Everything starting from a service was perfect. Food is just amazing and very tasty. Look at pictures it doesn't just look good, it taste good and even more than good. Thank you for enjoyable meal.
Almost empty on a January, Wednesday night but that's the planet missing out! Get out and eat people. Welcomed and served by Jade who did an awesome job. Food good, menu not overly complicated by too many options. Kleftiko was tender, flavour filled and presented beautifully. Great atmosphere. If you like balloons you'll love it even more. If I lived near Corby I'd be here regularly. Sadly I'm hours away. My advice- pick up your phone, book a table and enjoy a great night out. There's even entertainment on key nights.

Had afternoon tea, with a friend, a little while back. Highly recommended and, have to admit, much better than I thought it would be! Plenty to eat with lovely sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and 3 huge cakes each!! Plus unlimited coffee. All served with great friendliness and warmth, which I did expect in our hometown of Corby. Great stuff!!!
