However, my experience yesterday was terrib... read more I have visited the chequered flag a few times and while I wouldn't say it was amazing, I have been fairly satisfied. However, my experience yesterday was terrible. I told the waitress that it was the worst meal I have ever had. There were several issues with our meals - they were burnt, cold, dried up, and clearly reheated from a previous time. Even the carrot sticks meant for my child were white and seemed to have been sitting out for a long time. I did complain and received a partial refund, but it wasn't about the money for me. I will never dine there again. Additionally, the cutlery was dirty and the buckets containing sauces were filthy.

However, during my visit on Friday, January 15th, I was disappointed. After placing our order at the bar, we waited for our meal but it never arrived. When I inquired about it, I received a burnt beef burger with overcooked cheese and awful chips. The salt, pepper, and sauce bottles also needed a good cleaning. Unfortunately, no staff member checked on our satisfaction and when we tried to complain, there was only one staff member busy with another customer. Overall, I left as a very disappointed customer.
