Nestled along a river, this well-maintained state park combines dramatic waterfalls—one of the few places to spot moonbows—with clean, comfortable cabins and family-ready amenities. Trails of varying ease and ADA-accessible viewpoints loop through lush scenery; picnic areas, a gift and snack shop, a lodge restaurant and guided raft rides keep visitors busy. Staff are consistently praised for friendliness and attentiveness. Ideal for families, groups and hikers seeking peaceful, scenic outings; note campground sites are tight for large RVs and beach access involves stairs.

Great spot! There are two sizable waterfalls on the river and a smaller one from a side stream. The cabins are lovely, featuring private bathrooms, running water, and AC heating. Our family enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing vacation. There are plenty of trails, rafting opportunities, and riding activities. The cottage we stayed in was clean and quite nice. The staff is fantastic! The park is stunning, offering breathtaking views! There are paths to explore that provide various perspectives of the waterfall. The trail is quite easy to navigate. During our weekday visit, it wasn't crowded at all. Parking is conveniently located near the entrance by the gift shop. I will definitely be adding this spot to my list of places to revisit.

We organized a large gathering of 13 family members across three cabins, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We loved every aspect of our stay, and the staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive. The cabins were comfortable, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The surrounding area was peaceful, offering plenty of activities to enjoy. We can't wait to return!

Very well maintained park and hiking trails. Much green. You can appreciate the waterfall from different angles. The park is very accessible but to go to the beach, you need to climb down some stairs. You will find some picnic tables to eat and there are toilets to use. Also a gift shop and snack machines.

Beautiful state park. The waterfall is gorgeous. This is one of the only places in the world where “moon bows” can be viewed. Plenty of hiking trails. The main area to the falls is an easy walk and ADA accessible. The have a gift shop, snack shop and bathrooms.
