Cornbread muffins would have been amazing fresh but the top was a bit chewy, brisket was dry and mist have been sitting at a heat lamp because the texture was more pot roast than brisket.

No surprise this joint has been around for over 50 years. Good stuff. If you are looking for beer though, it's not here. That said the service, the food an atmosphere are excellent. I had the brisket. Top notch. The loadedtot appetizers are a good start. The beans are good and the corn bread is phenomenal.

Food was extremely delicious too. Perrportions was excellent. We didn't realize they closed at 9pm and wewere done at 9:30 but she still asked if we wanted desert. That's customer service to me.

The food... read more First time eating at Sonny’s BBQ. The establishment was clean the people were so nice. I was looking forward to some BBQ I wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was absolutely delicious????. Even the cold ice water with lemon was good????. And Haleywas so friendly. My husband and I will be back.

I wanted to go... read more Traveling we stopped at 2 Cracker Barrel restaurants. The wait time was 50 minutes, so we left to find another placed to eat. We saw Sonny's BBQ. I wanted to go somewhere that I haven't been before anyway. Sonny's was awesome. I had BBQ Chicken, Ribs, andBrisket with Cole slaw, Potatoes, Baked Beans, and Garlic Bread. Our appetizers were fried pickles and egg rolls. Everything wasdelicious. I definitely recommend Sonny's. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The customer service was excellent too. My only issueis they need more bussers. I dropped my Cole slaw and no one got it up. I attempted to, the server saw me and didn't offer tohelp. I had no where to put it, so I covered it with a paper towel. Management should train the staff that clean is a topprinciple and everybody is a custodian. If you see something dirty, clean it up; even if it's not in your job description.
