Feedback
It is inside The Bristol Hotel. I have been to several Michelin one and two stars restaurants, but this was my first stars. We were not disappointed. Nice layout and sitting outside with good weather helped with the final impression. Personnel very professional and...paying attention to all details, but not intrusive. The wine list was very extensive. Food was excellent all together but I really liked the
When I was able to get off the waitlist for my one-year anniversary dinner in Paris, I was ecstatic! However, one four hour meal and later, I'm not even sure this place deserves one Michelin star (let alone three Besides the service, which was...exceptional, the food and drinks were sub-par. I'll start with the only pro- the service. The multitude of waiters who come by your table are exceptionally friendly and overly accommodating. Each staff member served a different purpose, was trained impeccably, and was very knowledgeable in the area they served. Sometimes, though, it was too overwhelming with a waiter approaching the table every few minutes to check on you or offer something. Other pro was the bread- it was delicious. Finally, the wine choices were amazing- never had better wine in my life. Onto the bad- the food- the main (and potentially only item that a customer would care about). I called ahead and let the restaurant know I was a vegetarian and asked if that was something they could accommodate. They said it wasn't a problem and assured me it could be done. When I got to the restaurant and received the menu, there weren't any vegetarian options and the staff there informed me the only thing they could do was make me a pasta. (WHAT I guess they thought vegetarian included fish and even some meat options. Not sure what three star Michelin restaurant doesn't understand the definition of vegetarian The pasta was bland and hard. My husband was also not a fan of his meal. Given the exorbitant price of this meal, I would think our meals would be among the best we've ever tried. It was not even close! Paris is known for a city with some of the best restaurants in the world- this was not one of them. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend not bothering coming here, saving your money, and going somewhere much better (probably any other restaurant would be better).
