Been eating here since 2015. The prices have never went up even with inflation. Literally can feed a family of 4 and include a tip for less than 25$. 20$ if u try hard. Food is delish. Especially the hush puppies. Country environment with a year round Christmas tree decorated for different holidays. Nick knacks thru out. Old timers gadgets and gizmos. It's like walking into an old farm house. Even the door. Cute and... View all feedback.
What David Stephens doesn't like about Corapeake Country:
Ordered steaks and stuffed crabs. Food came out quick. NO seasoning. VERY bland. Served in a Styrofoam tray with plastic utensils. Ever try to cut a steak with a plastic knife? ? service was great. Waitress did noticed our struggles and brought over steak knives. Nice people. Great place if you want to have a conversation and grab something quick but, once again, NO flavor at all. This is a hidden gem. We randomly picked a restaurant an hour from home and this popped up. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the locals were all super nice. We both ordered hamburger steak with gravy and it was delicious. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be back.
They are great and friendly and great food. Pricing has stayed pretty good as well!
If your here and looking for food just get out and go in. This is the way an old country restaurant should be. The food is an amazing symphony of simple home cooking. It's all very good and just the way it should be. The service and atmosphere is nothing like you will find most places. It's better. It feels like you've been invited over for some home cooking. The BBQ was great. The gravy on my fries was just unbelievable gravy and ohh. If you like hush puppies... Holy smokes, you'll like these. Most definitely will go back.
Headed here for lunch on Sunday. We arrived ahead of most of the church crowd and were able to be seated immediately. I ordered the fried seafood platter with okra and green beans. Everything was perfectly cooked and arrived piping hot. The portions were very generous for a surprisingly low price. My wife had the ham and chicken special. More food than she could eat, and she loved it. My mother had the catfish platter, which she described as her favorite catfish ever. This restaurant offers an incredible value for excellent, cooked to order comfort food. Oh, and it filled up while we ate. We WILL return.
