My family and I have lived in the Moon area for a few years now, and I believe this local bar is one of the best in the area. The food is good, and the beer selection is decent, but what really sets this place apart is the welcoming atmosphere created by the incredibly friendly staff. This charming little spot truly offers the "Cheers" experience—everyone knows your name! The bar has its own unique character, and I even think I met a new Norm while I was there. The bartenders are top-notch and set the gold standard for service. Although I haven't tried the food yet, it looks absolutely delicious from what I saw on the plates of other patrons.
Someone mentioned that they should have ordered the steak salad without the French fries! But then it wouldn't really be a steak salad, would it? It would just be a salad with some steak on it.
Not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a seafood place, but instead it was sandwiches burgers and salad. I ordered the small steak salad. Iceberg lettuce, a quarter of tomato, 1 olive. The 3 small slices of steak were nice and tender. And I should have gotten it without French fries. The balsamic vinegrette was good. The service was very good. And the food did come out as quick as it should.

During my visit to the bar, Nicole, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was inviting, too. In the summertime, they offer an outdoor area where you can watch Steelers, Penguins, or Pirates games on TV. It’s a nice spot to smoke as well, complete with tables, lanterns, and even a fireplace. The indoor seating is equally enjoyable. Overall, it’s a lovely bar with great prices that match the quality of service and atmosphere you receive.
