Steak 'n Shake - Coral Springs

I stopped by for a quick bite, but my experience was quite disappointing. Even with the dining area nearly empty, no traffic in the drive-thru, and at least four employees on duty, it took 30 minutes for us to receive our meal after placing our order. When our two burgers and fries finally arrived, we were informed that the onion rings would be ready shortly. However, the onion rings never came. I requested a refund for the onion rings, and while I was given $3.00, there was no apology or explanation for the incomplete order. Although the burgers were tasty, the lengthy wait and the failure to fulfill a simple order left a negative impression of this restaurant.

It’s not what it used to be. Everything is now self-serve—there are no waitresses. You have to pay $0.40 for each tiny portion of sauce you want, and the menu has become very limited. They don’t offer Steak 'n Shake seasoning anymore; the only way to get it is to buy your own container to take home. Also, they no longer have chicken tenders.

I used to really enjoy visiting this restaurant, but things have changed. I think due to the pandemic, they’ve eliminated servers, and now you have to order your food at a kiosk, just like at McDonald's. It no longer feels like you're a guest; instead, it has a fast food vibe, as if they don’t want to engage with you. Plus, they've significantly reduced the menu options.

First time back in years. They have new kiosks so you can order quickly and without confusion. Restaurant is clean and there is plenty of seating. Staff was super friendly and really made my experience. Def recommend signing up for their club to getspecial discounts and coupons. I'll be back!

This is the slowest Steak & Shake I’ve ever visited. By the time you finally receive your shake from the indifferent staff, your hot food has already become lukewarm, at best. Given the prices charged, I expect quick and quality service. Unfortunately, this location is the complete opposite. I won't be coming back.
