Tealab - Coquitlam

I definitely agree with Ly W. I thought I was the only one. They use way too much milk powder and I could barely taste the tea. Second time I went in I had to basically explain how to make it. I asked for double steeped and light on the milk powder. Kind of sad considering they call themselves a tea lab. You would think they specialize in making the perfect bubble tea but this is not the case. There is a lot of bubble tea competition around here. I would suggest upping the quality. Either way I will go back every now and then to give them the benefit of the doubt!

Not my favourite place. Got the taro and sweet potato ball dessert. Too much milk and small portion for $5. Bubble Tea tastes bland and like any other. Would not come back again.

For a bubble tea shop that is named TeaLab , I would expect drinks with a stronger tea flavour. The drink itself was too milky and only had a hint of tea flavour quite water down. The pearls were slightly sweet and chewy, but a tad hard. Prices are reasonable $5.50).

Had roasted oolong fresh milk tea with brown sugar pearls. Milk tea tasted really good, rich tea and milk flavour, not watery at all. Brown sugar on the other side, didn't have enough brown sugar taste, but the texture was good, chewy, not too hard not too soft.

Definitely a great place to drink bubble tea if you don't want your drink to be loaded with suger and artificial flavors!A
