super clean, and as a Korean, I can say that they take care of her. this is relatiw a new place. others complain about this, but they must realize Korean food requires intense work. all beside dishes are clean, fresh and tasty. most Korean restaurants like to season their food salty, but not here. eat here, this is a great place for authentic Korean foods. What User doesn't like about Kunjip Korean:
excellent delicious food. very overpriced, what seems to be together with Korean restaurants; they can get twice as much Chinese food for the same price. 3/5 stars. would give more if not for the prices. View all feedback.
The grilled pork is delicious! The spicy squid and seafood soup is okay, but the seafood pancake was a disappointment as it was too soft and lacked crispiness.
The signature set menu is currently priced at $25 per person and offers good value. However, the single meals we tried with rice were lacking in ingredients. The rice itself was good. The squid-beef dish we ordered for around $16 was disappointing and not worth ordering. The ox knee soup had only 9-10 small pieces of meat for a similar price, and the soup itself lacked flavor depth. The side dishes could be improved, but some may enjoy the variety. It would be better to offer the same standard side dishes for all dishes after lunchtime, as there are often leftovers. Overall, the restaurant has potential if they focus on quality like Sura in Downtown. It is important to focus on quality rather than just copying dishes and food types. The main chef is rumored to be from Sura, so there is potential for improvement. In terms of location, this restaurant is likely the best choice for a set menu. The dining space is comfortable and spacious, with good social distancing measures in place. They offer draft beer, although I have not tried it yet.
The taste and quality were both excellent at this Korean restaurant. I would say it is slightly better than most other similar restaurants. The only downside was that the mackerel dish was a bit smaller than expected, possibly due to COVID restrictions. The menu photo showed two pieces, but only one small to medium piece was given. Despite this, the food was still great overall!
The restaurant is extremely clean, and as a Korean person, I can tell that they put a lot of care into their food. It is a relatively new establishment. Some people may complain about the wait, but it is important to understand that Korean cuisine requires a lot of effort. All of their side dishes are fresh, clean, and tasty. Unlike many Korean restaurants that tend to over-season their food, this place does not. I highly recommend dining here if you are looking for authentic Korean cuisine.
On April 18, 2022, I was disappointed to discover that the restaurant is permanently closed as it has been sold. I visited a few weeks ago and was informed by the server that they would be closing down. The food was quite good! It will be interesting to see what will happen to this location. The server mentioned that it will be transformed into a club-like setting with more focus on serving drinks.
