Having grow... read more This restaurant is the real deal for breakfast. I understand the exterior may not look appealing, but trust me—you don’t want to miss what’s inside. Having grown up in this town, I always make a point to visit Roger Carol's whenever I'm back home for their biscuits and gravy. It reminds me of the kind of meals my grandmother used to make, and it offers the authentic, home-cooked flavors that are hard to find, even at country-style restaurants. Definitely give it a try for breakfast; it’s absolutely worth it.

The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the biscuits were large and homemade. I would definitely stop by again and would love to try a burger next time.

I shared 10 quick burgers (small, square patties, with a pickle, onions, and ketchup....Wendy's meets the original McDonalds hamburger? for $7.00 with my family, and had some tater tots, fries, o-rings, and superman ice cream. Pretty tasty, not a bad walk from the train. I was a little surprised at the small portion sizes, especially for a place as country as this. Despite all this, I would come here again. However, if I were only visiting this place once, I'd probably not go there as it took up a good portion of our two hour stop.
