Something In Between - Copperas Cove
Something In Between
Description
Nestled in a small town, this quaint restaurant has become a topic of mixed reviews, particularly following its recent change in ownership. While many patrons praise the exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere, others note inconsistencies in the food quality, with reports of cold dishes and lackluster flavors. However, the heartwarming, home-cooked meals, innovative menu items like pork chop with blueberry vinaigrette, and a dedicated staff aiming for improvement suggest potential for growth. Despite some hiccups, the restaurant remains a hidden gem, encouraging diners from nearby Killeen and beyond to experience its charm and unique offerings.

First time here and, oh my goodness, it was fantastic!!! When we walked in, I smelled yummy food and syrup... a sweet welcoming. I knew I was in the right place! Everything is made from scratch and y'all just gotta try it! We got the double stackof Pancakes and full order of French Toast. Didn't realize they don't play when it comes to portions... WOW!!! The bananas andstrawberries were so sweet and fresh!!! The employees are so friendly! We will definitely be returning soon!
LOVED this place! First time going and even my picky family eaters enjoyed their meal? I would recommend to others looking for a breakfast joint? we went for brunch , everything is made from scratch.
Really enjoyed our first meal here. I had aone of the specials, pulled pork and waffles. The pork was excellent and the waffles were delicious. . My boyfriend had the French toast with strawberries and bananas. I'll go back next time I'm in Copperas Cove.
Great local From Scratch restaurant. I wish I had known about this place before, because everything was exquisite! Waffle was made to the perfect level point of crisp. They cut up a whole banana from the looks of it and I can appreciate that, unlike someestablishment barely given out toppings. The eggs were actually seasoned and didn't require additional salt or pepper. Biscuitand gravy tasted like Grandma woke up and made them this morning. My pork belly was also nice and flavorful. I can appreciate agood breakfast. They also have board games and card games available while waiting. Will return soon.
Stopped in here based on other reviews. Food is HOT and fresh with great flavors. Place doesn't look like much on the inside and it was kind of warm, but if you're more concerned about food quality than appearances it's a great little place. I had themaple syrup glazed pork belly breakfast sandwich. Waitress suggested having it on an everything bagel and it was wonderful. Big enough I could only eat half. My husband had the Big Tex breakfast and he couldn't finish his plate either. Big chunks ofhomemade fried potatoes with nicely breaded and fried chicken thighs.
