My partner and I went on a Thursday evening on the spur of the moment. The staff could not have been more welcoming, settling us into a private corner. We had the MYTILINI PLATTER platter for 2 $75. The food was fresh and delicious, leaving us both content. I wanted to try this platter as I was keen to try the ouzo ice cream and honey puffs which were a nice fresh finish to the meal. What Ρένος Προκόπη doesn't like about Greek on Cav:
Went here a few weeks ago and for the price we paid the serving size and flavour was terrible. Tiny serving of haloumi (can get twice as much at other greek restaurants for the same price) lemon potatoes were very salty and very little lemon flavour. Souvlaki were soggy and we barely ate half. Service was just OK. Lady who served me could barely operate the eftpos machine. I'm sorry but we won't be back again. View all feedback.
Just such a lovely restaurant with such welcoming staff. We've been several times with our 3 little boys (4,5 & 7) and the main waitress just lights up and makes them feel so welcome. Food is fresh and tasty. Baclava ice cream is cracking. These people just know what they're doing and obviously enjoy doing it.
Heard lots of good things about this place from acquaintances. Went for the fist time with a couple of friends of our. Was quite disappointed. Excessive prices for what you get. $4.00 for a can of Coke, wow. $24.00 for a capsicum filled with rice and a few potatoes. This blows me away. Food was quite average. When did we start putting rocket in Souvlakia? That's not a souvlaki.
I recently dined here in a group of four on a busy evening. The menu is extensive and authentic with a large selection of starters and side dishes, banquets and mains. On this occasion I had Chickpea fritters for starter, followed by Sagaksni Garides - prawns in a spicy tomato sauce with rice and turkish bread. All delicious.
We ordered dips for starters and the bread portion was terrible. They charged us for extra bread without telling us. They took a whole hour for our main meals to come out. When asking the staff about how long it would take, they were very rude and told us that there were other tables ahead of us instead of rectifying the issues. Terrible service, stingy with food portion. Will never recommend it and will never go there again!
We went here earlier in the week and were pretty excited as it is hard to get a table without reservations. The service was great and the food was pretty good too. We will definitely go again to try out more of their menu.
