Have read all reviews here but know the owner has changed coffee blend and as I am really a fussy coffee drinker found it amazing. Love the selection of home wares and also had the fruit salad recently which was great - none of the other coffee shops offer here. Quirky down the lane but full of vintage atmosphere in a quiet environment. Nice not to have smell of car fumes like the other coffee shops on the front and... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ruby & Dell Espresso Bar:
We stayed at Coolum several years back and loved this place for coffee and cake after our morning surf. Tried it again recently and were pretty disappointed - new owners where very friendly and helpful BUT the coffee was terrible! Cakes etc looked v good, but we didn't try any. Hopefully they get a better bean (try Costa's up at Sunshine beach) and learn how to brew as this is a real shame View all feedback.
A few years ago, we stayed in Coolum and enjoyed visiting this place for coffee and cake after our morning surf. We decided to give it another try recently, but were disappointed with the quality of the coffee. The new owners were very friendly and helpful, but the coffee was not up to par. The cakes looked delicious, but we didn't end up trying any. Hopefully, they will switch to a better coffee bean (like Costa's at Sunshine Beach) and improve their brewing technique, as it would be a shame to see this place go downhill.
After reading all the reviews, I discovered that the owner has changed the coffee blend at this restaurant. As a picky coffee drinker, I found it to be amazing. I also enjoyed the selection of home decor items and recently tried the fruit salad which was excellent and not offered at other coffee shops in the area. The restaurant is tucked away down a quirky lane with a vintage atmosphere and a peaceful environment without the smell of car fumes or noise from other coffee shops nearby. There is parking available in the back, making it a definite return destination for me. This is THE place to go for coffee in Coolum!
I was initially hesitant about a small restaurant located down a side street next to a laundromat, but upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The cozy shop was filled with unique decor and one-of-a-kind items for purchase. I enjoyed a delicious coffee and savory muffin for breakfast, served by friendly staff. Overall, it was a great start to my day.

On the site of the old Little Lane Espresso but lacking the menu and food we all remember, a limited menu for food but good coffee
