Secondly, eating was very mediocre and we were despised, but we felt like we shot it again. the third time worse. the waiting staff dropped a part of my meal (bread from my meal on the floor and went to the manager. he actually looked the half as if he said to put it back on the plate. instead of doing the right thing and giving a fresh one, I was just served my meal without replacing it. not to accept. the manager richard was rude and owed the owner his own stinking attitude (the new owner may have been terrible, but still no excuse). all in all a shockingly bad operation to higher trips than metropolis. I'm sorry for the locals in coolangatta who look like nice people and don't rely on this mum. ps! the waiting employees were actually very hard working jovial workers and no part of this review reflects their attitude / worth as they are the only really positive in this latrine that is marked as a restaurant.

We recently traveled from sydney to coolangatta (it was 11 of us) to celebrate the 85th birthday of my father. some weeks before my arrival I made a dinner book... read more We recently traveled from sydney to coolangatta (it was 11 of us) to celebrate the 85th birthday of my father. some weeks before my arrival I made a dinner booking in this restaurant that was chosen by my dad. the bookind was made weeks before our trip and confirmed via the phone with jamie. When we arrived on Sunday night, I was beyond angry to find that the restaurant had apparently closed a week or two earlier and no one harassed me! They can imagine how I felt to have organized a special dinner for my dad on his actual 85th birthday, just to find no place. I hope that these people do not allow to run a business again/manipulate as they do not deserve patronage ever again.
