Grandma's Pancake House - Cookeville

The service was extremely friendly, the prices were great, and the portion sizes were generous. The restaurant was also very clean. The only reason I would give it four stars instead of five is that my wife's eggs were slightly dry and the potato pancakes were not what I expected; they were more like regular pancakes rather than the Eastern European style I was hoping for. If half stars were an option, I would actually rate this as 4.5 stars.

Wow, this place is a must-visit! The food was amazing, but the highlight for me was the fresh-squeezed orange juice.

I stopped here on my way back to North Carolina and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Despite being busy, the staff managed everything very well. Our meals arrived quickly and were served hot. The pancakes were sweeter than usual, but they were absolutely delicious. The omelets had pancake batter mixed in, which made them quite unique. I ordered the Eggs Michael, and everything was delightful. The coffee was good as well. For dessert, I tried a cherry crepe, which was tasty but had just cherries on top and no filling. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely stop by again if I’m passing through.

The omelet was served with three small but fluffy pancakes. Although they were a bit cold by the time I got to them, they had a pleasant flavor. The syrup added a nice touch, and despite some mixed reviews I've read, I found it quite enjoyable. My coffee cup was always topped up, and I really appreciated Maria’s attentive and prompt service. Overall, my experience was positive, and I’m eager to try more items from the menu, so I will definitely return.

I was taken aback by the vibe when we first walked in, but the food and service were outstanding! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and my husband's corned beef hash was incredible!
