S... read more I visited today to pick up a wine recommended on Facebook. There was a knowledgeable gentleman in the shop, but the girl at the register seemed inexperienced. She spent a long time catering to him, completely ignoring me while I was on the phone and using the computer. Once she finally finished, she casually said, "Oh, I thought you were together," and offered no further apology or thanks for my patience—all quite rude, really. I've experienced similar issues before when trying to place orders through Facebook; I felt completely ignored with no response. I don’t think this is the right way to treat new, local customers.

Unfortunately, I had to give a low rating due to the... read more This is honestly a charming little spot that we frequent often, featuring a lovely beer garden in the back. Unfortunately, I had to give a low rating due to the shocking rudeness of the staff, particularly from a woman I believe to be the manager. She was abrupt with us and condescending towards her young employees, even loudly complaining about how many cheeseboards customers were ordering. One of our guests approached the bar to check out the beers, and before he could even place his order, she rudely declared that the whiskey wasn’t available by the glass, almost implying he couldn’t afford it. We ended up having just one drink before leaving. I'm truly disappointed, as this was our favorite place to grab a drink in Conwy, but after that experience, I cannot justify returning and giving my hard-earned money to someone like that.

They have an incredible selection of wines and beers, along with a lovely garden where you can enjoy a drink. The Snowdon craft IPA was delightful, and the Italian red, Millefiori, paired perfectly with cheese and crackers. The owner and staff are knowledgeable, and their passion for what they offer is clear. Definitely worth a visit!
