For the first time, visit ty gwyn to eat, and my wife and I were not disappointed. beautiful old coaching inn with a beautiful ambiente and good service. my main reason for a review is to be left, although I absolutely loved the seafood gratin, a.k.a Fish...I can live in london and eat a fair amount, and while I would not (necessarily) consider myself a more familiar, the fish cake here is excellent. if they find the... I dined at Ty Gwyn on November 24th and had a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and attentive, and we enjoyed sitting by the wood burner in the bar area, which was cozy on a cold evening. We started with pate, which was a generous portion and delicious. I had the bacon chops while my partner had the rump steak pie, both of which were excellent. My relative ordered the posh fish and chips and said it was fantastic. The best part was the prices - Ty Gwyn offers an extensive menu at great value. In a time where prices are on the rise, it's refreshing to find such quality for the price. I highly recommend visiting Ty Gwyn - you won't be disappointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at TyGwyn, from the delightful overnight stay to the delicious meal and breakfast. The restaurant's old-world charm was enchanting, and the staff's dedication to their work was evident. It was clear that many of the other guests were regulars who had been coming for years. We hope TyGwyn continues to thrive for many more years to come.
This is a nice place to eat great food, but not cheap, not that it should be. we booked and when we arrived, as it took a little longer than we thought (we were just a few minutes too late), the man was a little...Gruff and said he would ring a little bit of otter, I thought. as well as always, very beautiful beginnings and most important overall. However, the fishbone came a bit with a side of red cabbage in a bowl (bäuerchen would be better). pies, although delicious, came with chips but no fresh veg. the possibility was, but I think kartoffel and veg should be offered, especially if it was quite expensive. cozy and in demand go for a quality pub meal.
I had one of my best-ever meals there, when I visited several years ago, and I was so looking forward to going back and it did not disappoint. Just a lovely meal and great atmosphere. Worth every penny. I must make sure that my next...visit is not too far in the future.
Old charming place with varied menu and delicious food. Pie was delicious as was the bass. Well presented.
