Reviews summary

The Captain's Table restaurant garners a spectrum of experiences, from enthusiastic praise to notable concerns. Diners appreciate the freshly cooked meals and variety of options, including dog-friendly policies and a clean, welcoming environment. However, service issues arise, particularly concerning accessibility for those with mobility challenges and the approach to customer requests. Some guests felt disheartened by delays and limited menu choices, while others enjoyed the atmosphere and quality food. Despite the hospitality of the staff, some patrons left with reservations about returning, highlighting the need for improvements in service consistency and inclusivity.

We had a lovely meal of fish, chips and peas today... Piping hot and good quality... Lovely fish.. Organised entry into cafe... Queuing system in place and socially distanced tables... Friendly staff as well. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Summit Complex:

came today on the tramway, went in to get eating drinks, it was a catastrophe that they didn't know how to shake milk, or didn't know how to make green tee! utter chaos, I thought they had trained in front of the hand, no sign of anyone who is older. View all feedback.

We went to the cafe on a Sunday morning for a mid-morning snack and hot drinks. It was busy, but the service was good and we found our cakes and coffee to be very enjoyable. The cafe has a simple atmosphere, but we had a pleasant experience overall.

My husband and I stopped by the Captains Table after visiting the Great Orme. We enjoyed a nice freshly cooked and tasty meal, along with a hot cup of tea. The prices were reasonable for what we received. The restaurant was quite busy, but we appreciated that it is dog-friendly, making it a safer option for pet owners. The toilets were clean and the seating area in the cafe was well-maintained. A friendly staff member was consistently cleaning tables as customers left, which was nice to see. There was a variety of food, cakes, sandwiches, and ice cream to choose from. Overall, we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the Captains Table.

The restaurant was run-down and uninspiring. However, it appeared to be clean. The disabled access was definitely lacking.

I called a coffee, about very young employees standing behind the eating server. the girl that served us could no less harassed, lack of basic customer support skills and basic manage. I really don't think they want to or deserve theirs. the whole. furnished is unprofessional and fundamental. a backing on the

I wanted to get something to eat, ordered food for my wife, tried to order mine and was said there would be no more sausages. it didn't like anything other than watching the woman eat her. She threw it away when the sausage was chew. I couldn't complain. will not be back.

The Great Orme is a mountain, that much I get. When the mountain was formed geology did not cater for wheechairs. The summit cafe however is man made. So when they built the cafe and thought we best put a ramp into the cafe.... so...far so good. However the person who built it must also build skateboard ramps. Not content with building a steep ramp the builder put a little lip on the doorframe. On the flat you can lift a wheelchair on a steep ramp it is near impossible. We gave up. Shame on you cafe summit you give no consideration for disabled.
