i arrived just before last order for a meal and they quickly reserved me a table and assured me that i could order after i had checked in. the room i had booked was not available but they offered and upgrade at the same price. i found the new mattress in my room had a super soft foam layer but cannot sleep on that type of mattress so they accommodated a change that allowed me to have a good night's sleep.the food was... We stayed in one of the smaller rooms. Bathroom was OK but the shower would not turn off , tap on sink was loose and water would not go down sink . While we were waiting in the bar to be served, another couple entered but ended up leaving because they couldn't find anyone to assist them. Eventually, we were able to find a staff member. However, when we wanted a refill, we had to wait a long time to find a bartender. Surprisingly, there was no one else in either bar. Overall, the service was rated 2 out of 5, the location was rated 5 out of 5, and the highlight of the hotel was its quiet atmosphere.
