Spot On Cafe - Conwy
Spot On Cafe
Description
Recently, a once-beloved café has sparked mixed feelings among patrons. While the menu offers enticing options like a colossal breakfast challenge and a promising full English, many diners have expressed disappointment following a change in ownership. Complaints about cold meals and subpar ingredients, such as unusual sausage and small chicken bits in curry, have emerged. Despite these setbacks, some continue to praise the eatery for its friendly atmosphere, affordable prices, and hearty portions. For those seeking a casual dining experience with a touch of community spirit, this café remains a local staple, albeit with room for improvement.

The food was fresh and hot, and the staff were delightful. I will definitely be returning.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the location is perfect. I have no complaints. The prices are affordable and the food is of high quality. I will definitely be back. The menu has a good variety of options.
I have been to this restaurant several times in the last few months on a Thursday morning. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced, and there is easy parking available. I must say that the new server with glasses was a great addition to the team. She was so friendly and chatty, which made our dining experience so much better compared to the usual service we have received. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and feel welcomed rather than feeling like we were a burden. We will definitely be returning.
I was craving a hearty breakfast and found a fantastic traditional diner. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was quick, friendly, and down-to-earth. The prices were surprisingly low. It's no surprise that this place gets busy.
Well, this place has certainly gone back uphill then, since its new Manager took over a few years ago It’s 5 STAR in it 's sector: food, price, cleanliness (a top hygiene rating! and customer service, are all superb. Obviously, it 's not fine dining but it IS a fab little caff set back off the main road between Kinmel Bay the Abergele straight, where the staff will cook you dinner at breakfast time if that 's your supper time, or you can have a Full English for lunch! They also take pains to ensure that how you like it is how they do it, so if you want your beans on the side or poured over your eggs and bacon, a sandwich made with toast or a 'toastie ', it 's your choice The coffee machine is great, there are newspapers to read while you eat, kids whose adults feel they’ve behaved well get a treat, and while on the outskirts of a small business estate (so plenty of parking! you’re surrounded by fields with the Clwydian mountain range in the distance. Consequently, it 's very popular but they don 't overstaff so they can keep prices fair, if they 're busy you might have to wait a bit longer but it 's worth it, and you can even ring in and collect your order for takeout! The staff they have are all lovely and chatty and so there’s a really nice friendly atmosphere where you feel part of the family even if you’re not a frequent visitor! Highly recommend!!
