Unfortunately, we only chose this place because there were limited options for lunch on a Monday. Upon arrival, we were not greeted and there were only a few other customers. The atmosphere lacked character, with somber music playing softly in the background. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked energy or smiles. The prices were high, with a ploughman's lunch platter for two costing £18.95. The platter included a minimal amount of ham, crackers, cheese, pickled onions, piccalilli, and a pre-made salad with dried out cucumber and wilted lettuce. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.
