Description

The Haven Cafe in Llandudno offers a pleasant dining experience with a mix of reviews. While some were deterred by a lack of atmosphere and unprofessional service, others praised the friendly staff, delicious food, and welcoming environment. The full English breakfast was a particularly popular choice, as well as the homemade bara brith. Despite mixed opinions, The Haven Cafe seems to have something to offer for different tastes and preferences. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast or a cozy lunch spot, The Haven Cafe might just be worth a visit during your stay in Llandudno.

My wife and I came to this cafe a few months ago and loved it. We vowed to return the next time we came to Llandudno. We walked in and sat down. The first thing we noticed was that the atmosphere was totally different from the last time we were in. The lady who served us didn't seem very professional. It may have been a language issue as we think she may have been Ukrainian. She also appeared to be a little rude. Again, I think that it was a language issue. The food was good but there was no atmosphere in the cafe. I remember the last time we came we had a conversation with a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for us. Even though it was busy she made sure every single customer was happy. That's one of the reasons we decided to return. Even though the food is OK, I don't think we will be returning.

First time visiting this little gem today. Lovely, friendly and respectful staff. Food and drink brilliantly priced and perfect to eat. Portions were huge! We have toasted sandwiches (cheese and onion and ham and tomato) both came with side salad and coleslaw, tuna and cheese salad (no mayo perfect but could have mayo if wanted) with a huge side of salted crisps !! The big eater of us had soup (carrot and coriander) with a ham, tuna and cheese sandwich!! Oh and a side order of chips which were amazing and sausages for our two dogs! Plus the best teas and coffees we have had all week! All for £46 so 6 (4 people and 2 four legged friends) of us left very content. Will be back!! Lovely atmosphere, clean and friendly. Well done all! Just wish I had room left to each some of that coffee cake but couldn’t eat another thing!!

We were on a day trip on the paddle steamer Waverley and were looking for somewhere quiet for lunch. We're older and enjoy a slower pace of life these days. We experienced an efficient eating place, with helpful pleasant staff and our food choices were immaculately served quickly, with a smile, and extra water for our tea. Food was well presented and extremely tasty. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your establishment.
