Description

Nestled in a quaint seaside town, this fish and chip café presents a mixed bag of experiences. Some diners were let down by poor-quality chips and lackluster dishes, while others praised the exceptional freshness of the fish and friendly service. Highlights include a delicious cod special with crispy batter and generous portions, alongside a commendable selection of vegan options. Despite the outdated decor, patrons found the flavors memorable, making it a worthwhile stop for seafood lovers. Overall, while inconsistent, the café shows promise for those seeking classic fish and chips in a welcoming atmosphere.

Went in here specifically for the gluten free menu it’s been ages since I’ve been able to have fish n chips! Food was nice and tasty, gluten free vinegar available as well if you ask. Dogs were also allowed inside. The menu is quite varied, much more than just fish n chips! It’s does get quite busy and there was a sign saying it shut at 19:00 from now on.

Awesome place for fish and chips and the fact they have gluten free fish and chips along with gf malt vinegar makes it over the top. Huge piece of fish and lots of chips. Had it with and without the curry sauce and enjoyed both ways. Highly recommend as had it twice in the two days in Llandudno

Very traditional F&C. We ordered take away to be enjoyed at the train station. The chips are deeply fried, thus crispy. Fish is well fried and nicely portioned. We were quite intimidated when asked crudely by the waitress to wait outside although (apparently the recently emptied table needed to be cleaned) … At any rate we decided not to have eat in.

A good basic place to nip in and get a bite. It's not great, it's not bad. The food was fine. I wish they would have put some vegetables on their plates. If I'd had a side of broccoli or something that would have gotten them another star. We were not impressed with their scones. My husband and I both got the scones with cream and jam, and they only brought us one thing of cream to share, which seemed a bit tight. The thing I will give them high marks for is having plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the vastness of the menu in terms of gluten free and vegan options. Staff were very attentive and helpful, food was delicious! Price is not bad considering the seating, location (2 minute walk away from the seafront) and the options/quality of the food. I would love to come again.
