If they have lobster pasta as the daily special, absolutely go for it. It’s delicious, amazing, and I would happily come back for it again. The desserts are also very tasty. I give it a 10/ 10. It’s definitely worth visiting this place if you’re in Bari.

For my 3rd day in Bari, this is the first restaurant where the food tastes really amazing! Spaghetti was brilliant, sea food also. You can judge by my plate on the photo

We came here twice, as we were looking for a restaurant that is less commercial and touristy. Peppo is near the train station Bari Centrale. The pasta is amazing we had the caccio e peppe and the carbonara. We also had the sea fruit fish dish. Would recommend if you are looking for a slightly different experience, outside the old city center.

My husband and I had lunch here after getting off of the train in Bari. We shared an octopus appetizer, my husband had pasta and I had the steak. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was excellent, and the prices were fair for the quality of food. Also, the restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated.

We unfortunately didn’t have a good experience at Peppo. The service really wasnt bad and that was about it. The bread that was brought to the table was at least a couple of hours already sliced up in that basket. I had the lobster which had an unnatural amount of saltwater in it and didn’t exactly taste fresh. I also have no idea why the claw of the lobster was served uncut, I don’t understand how I’m expected to get the lobster meat out of there with just a knife and fork, but mabey that’s just a skill issue on my part. The sauce wasn’t mine and had, probably because of the lobster weigh to much water in it. My girlfriend had the carbonara which wasn’t that good either and the guanciale was hopelessly overcooked. We personally thought the music was too loud and was turned louder as the evening progressed even tho we were the only guestes and there wasn’t really an athmosphere for that. Unfortunately can’t recommend.
