We had a great meal despite coming up short on a couple of dishes. We ordered a couple of mocktails which stole the show and were absolutely amazing and refreshing the ginger lime and the orange passion fruit one) Will definitely go back and this time earlier, they sell out of the best stuff early, especially on Sunday. I enjoyed the ambience and location. I had the wedge salad, halibut and sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, the halibut was dry and too salty. The service was good and staff friendly. The cocktail was excellent. I had 2 whiskey sours. I will try it again and try a different dish. View all feedback.
This place is fantastic! I would highly recommend to anyone. The cocktails were surprisingly good, the food was top notch, I am definitely going out of my way to come back here. Service was fantastic, I don't have anything bad to say about this place. Come and enjoy!

Greatly enjoyed a special Bday Date Night Dinner at Bull Valley Roadhouse!!! This was our first time there and everything was lovely! From the windy, slow drive to Port Costa, to the cool, historic town and restaurant building! The hand crafted cocktails were refreshing, and the food so flavorful! My favorite was the prosciutto and melon salad and the caramel panda cotta!!! The service was great too! Highly recommend for a special night out!
First off the drive there is a cool little windy road just outside of, Crockett. It will take you to the cute enclave of Porta Costa. In the restaraunt you will see many old pics and and taxidermy and the ambiance of Victorian. I loved the food! I loved the service. Thank you, Parker! The bartender welcomed us in. Everyone on the staff we met were very friendly and accomodating. Parker had a down to earth hospitality and checked on us throughout the dinner. I took a chance on the fish (with Thai sauce and a side of the carrots (puttanesca sauce with ricotta green onions and cilantro giving it an Asian flair . I loved it paired with a hazy IPA on draftI Wife was happy with the spaghetti and fresh clams. I wished they would stay open later but we were there till 15 min after closing and there were still patrons at the bar. But you can also check the Warehouse Cafe across the street if they have to kick you out.
This was our 3rd time dining here. Great food, great service and wonderful/quirky/amusing ambiance. The noice was not too bad, but the seating is too close together between tables, so everyone hears each other's convos. Highly recommend for casual dinner date or to show off the area to visitors.
