Silvermist Eatery was the perfect place to host our low key wedding celebration brunch. Tessa worked with us a month or so out over email, sending us photos and menu plans to reassure us that the space that would work. (We were visiting from the States. We even sprung a visit on her and the chef a week beforehand just to check out the place. They took time out of their staff Christmas party to make sure we were sorted. Our group was about 30 people and Tess organized the back garden over looking the beautiful mountains. It was a public holiday and the eatery was busy, but our party still felt private. The wait staff was just attentive enough without being in our way. Our Capetownian local family was impressed with the view, food, wine and friendly service- which is a tall order since so many Capetown venues have this in spades. They were happy to let us take our time as we stayed late into the afternoon. We would whole heartily recommend Silvermist!
Love this place! Everything is good food wise and the views are spectacular! It is a must when visiting Cape Town. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Our family visited the Green Vine Eatery yesterday afternoon. We ordered a Farmers Meat Platter and flat bread on the side. The preserves made by Chef Rui were absolutely out of this world! I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone seeking tranquillity, beautiful views and 5 star food. Chef Rui and the entire team at the Green Vine Eatery made our experience an absolute pleasure.
Came for breakfast this morning...breakfast was excellent as usual. I also noticed a huge improvement in service levels from the front of house staff. Good morning out...will definitely recommend.
