The food is good, service excellent and the music nice for those who appreciate the live local country music.

Yes, I had to wait a wh... read more Strange that I would give 4 stars which contradicts my title as well as my strong consideration for quality and friendliness of service. Yes, I had to wait a while before getting service and felt ignored, and yes my waitress seemed cold. I was unable to get WiFi to boot. However, the Dobrujan (roasted ram) that I ordered was quite good and was made better with the dill, mushrooms and other garnishings. It wasn't presented quite as well as shown in the pictures, but it certainly met my standards. I suppose in this rare case, the service did not detract enough from the quality and uniqueness of my meal and I recall leaving satisfied. So with that being said, I have no issue giving a respectable 4 star rating.

The terrace decorations in Gaudi style were very nice too. Not only we were completely satisfied with the visit at Ana Ion but I can say that in my opinion, they serve the best Tripe Soup I've had anywhere else, along with their wonderful home-made bread and the best garlic sauce ever!

The food was necessary, I had for the first time hot pickles from zucchini. The service was good and they have a band playing live café concert and popular Romanian music. To remember one night!
