Had the Bloody Mary build your own bar which h... read more Had brunch at Z'Tejas today. Haven't been to Austin in awhile and this has always been a great casual restaurant. Had the Bloody Mary build your own bar which has some really good selections to choose from. Two of us ordered the chicken and waffles, which were very good. Could have been a bit spicier for my taste. Another person in our group had the panko crusted chicken salad and she said is was delicious. The other person had the special burrito and also thought it was great. All in all, consistent quality, great menu, and great service.

They were both delivered to us well done to burnt thus almost destroying the dish. The waiter advised us that is how the kitchen is preparing the dish for all... It was a little bit of a let-down.
