Was Anonym at Shogun a mag?
This was our first visit, and we were extremely pleased with our experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The sushi was excellent, and the shady dog dish was our favorite. i got take out and im giving 3 stars because the unagi was great and the soup was okay. but the fried rice lacked any real flavor that wouldve been better made on the grill and the tempura they gave me is inedible in my opinion, it is VERY cheaply made and the smell of the fry oil is overpowering and the fry batter is gross as all heck. the only saving grace was the unagi with the vegetables. sucks an entire box of f... The Shady Dog was so fantastic that I didn't even have time to take a picture—let's start with that. It was the best Shady Dog I've ever had. Definitely a 10/10! My second roll was the Fantasy Roll; the picture wouldn't do it justice, but the hot green tea really got my mouth watering. The only downside was that they didn't have the Japanese soda I originally wanted, but the alternatives they offered were still excellent. Another 10/10! Our server was great, very cool, and attentive. Overall, the service was also a perfect 10/10!
We went here eat for the 1st time on a Thursday around 5pm. It wasn't busy at all. We chose regular seating vs Habachi. I feel like their menu was scase compared to other places like it. But the food was good. Our waiter was a man of very very few words.
Party of 15 ..called ahead with possibility of 20. Had 1 waiter..everything came out at different times. Long waits no one ate at the same time. Entrees came after main course. It was a disaster. Waiter did best he could. Not going again
Great value with attentive and entertaining cooks; it's especially satisfying when you're really hungry!
