Not sure if it is standard operating procedure for them to use ingredients from the previous day, but I just visited shortly after they opened for the day and as part of my order I got some very questionable guacamole as well as some (for a lack of a better adjective) flat queso. Both must have been repurposed from the day before? I dropped almost $30 for a burrito and bowl and the disappointment hurts . See sad guacamole picture below.
I would rate this restaurant 2 stars because they checked the food temperature, which is a requirement in Texas for serving chicken. Despite it not being busy, the restaurant was quite dirty. The trash was overflowing, to the point where people were placing their garbage on top of it! The floor had food and napkins scattered around, and the tables were not cleaned. I understand that busy periods can be chaotic, but it was clear that the rush was over, and it was time for the staff to clean up the place.
I have gotten a burrito here twice, the first time there were 3 long black hairs in my burrito, and the second time they didn’t listen to the special notes that i added for the pickup order. I absolutely love chipotle and never leave reviews but this was honestly really upsetting…. hope it gets better…
Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone downhill and continues to decline. Yesterday, I had the misfortune of interacting with an employee who was rude, rushed me, and had a poor attitude not only towards me but also towards others. To make matters worse, she seemed more focused on her friends dining in the restaurant than on the customers. After we were seated, I noticed that she had given me the large chips I paid for, so I went to inform her. She stared at me for a few seconds, then placed a bag of chips on the counter instead of handing it to me. I thanked her, even though she didn’t offer an apology or explanation. I'm not sure why she was in such a hurry, especially since it was quite slow at the time. I think someone called her Michelle. The food was decent today, but the poor customer service really affected my experience. I left feeling disheartened and uncertain about returning.
