Best chips and salsa in town, we simply start this review by saying that. Lunch specialities run from 11-3 and they are the best bang for your buck! You and your family can eat here for cheaper than most fast food restaurants and you will get much higher quality food. Many vegetarian options and you can leave dairy products to make them vegan. Absolutely love this place, I and my friends are regularly here and do not... View all feedback.
Had a wonderful experience! Great food! Great prices! Plus the wait staff is so friendly and quick! We have a baby under a year old and we never have to worry about them placing the plates too close to her or anything really. That helps so much since she's so grabby! We will definitely keep coming here!
Yummy food, decent prices, clean place and great customer service.
Our first time at Los Jefes and wasn't disappointed at all. Atmosphere was nice, beautiful colors and decor, waiters were very polite and always came to see if we needed anything, the husband and I both had taco salads (mine fajita style) and they were delicious. And to our surprise we received a free dessert. So glad we went and YES we will return.
We are still fans of El Caballo Blanco, but I must say, Los Jefes is our new favorite. Probably a bit because it's new and different, and there are a few things we don't like, but many we like better. I highly recommend their three Taco plates. You can mix what kind of tacos you get, and I would recommend that, especially for your first visit. Definitely make two of your choices Carnitas (Pork tips), and El Pastor (marinated pork). Both excellent. Asada (steak), pollo (chicken) and pescado (fish) are the other three possibilities. We have tried several other entrees and not disappointed. One thing I missed from my years in the San Diego area was shredded beef. ground hamburger meat does not belong in Mexican dishes, but unfortunately in the Middle West this is usually all you can get. Not at Los Jefes. I am sure that our review is varied, and we will still visit El Caballo Blanco, but I highly recommend that Connersville Mexican Food fans try Los Jefes. It would be a shame for this restaurant to fail due to lack of business. It is a valuable advantage for the city and will also be an advantage for your taste buds.
