Excessive wait time for food! Cheeseburger was burnt and had sweet pickles on it... Waitress was great. I ordered country fried steak mashed potatoes and green beans. Green beans were lightly seasoned and mashed potatoes were heavily peppered. Highly disappointed with Ole rooste considering when you walk in and see all their awards posted on the wall. Was lucky enough to go on Wednesday when the special is fried chicken! Very good, tender, juicy boneless breast. Hubby had green beans, I had carrots, both were delicious.Wish we lived closer, we would make it a weekly dinner destination

Was in Connersville for a work meeting and stopped for a quick lunch at the lovely Old Rooste. If you have the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend it!! The atmosphere is charming and comfortable. The food is wonderful. You can tell that the owners care about the details. The choices are very thoughtful throughout the restaurant. From the decor to the dinnerware to the menu, everything has been crafted with care.
