T... read more A pleasant surprise at this charming little village hotel. Very clean and cozy. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a bit firm for us. The bar and restaurant were pleasant and offered generous portions. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with very limited choices.

We plan to return to this restaurant in Confolens on our next visit.

Possibility of having breakfast, lunch and evening service. I recommend the cod fillet, served with zucchini and spaghetti.

It was 7 o'clock and I needed a room. He was very good. Room at the back without noise, good little restaurant with a very good wine list. The red wine in a carafe (from Charente) was very good, but a Blayais (small bottle, not expensive) was perfect. Recommended!
