Hospitality a... read more Trattoria located in the historic center of Gallicianò, a village in the Grecanic hinterland in the province of Reggio Calabria on the Ionian Sea. Hospitality at the highest level. Calabrian appetizer, pasta with goat ragù, meat and sausage samples was the menu that I really appreciated. I recommend having this experience by immersing yourself in a priceless silence in an evocative setting where time is suspended, while eating and drinking very well. A compliment to the owners who preserve an outpost of ancient culture linked to our Magna Graecia roots.

The meal consists of plate of local products (fresh ricotta, smoked meat, vegetable and much more) with bread, delicious minestrone soup and fresh fruit. It was not easy to find the trattoria as there is no signboard. Luckily we came across the lady who is in charge and lives nearby. This place is definitely worth a visit.
