The salad was good, ingredients seemed decently fresh. The service however was slow as molasses. The employees acted like they were doing you the biggest favor by putting ingredients into a bowl. I am not exaggerating when I say that I watched one woman spend a full minute putting her gloves on, it felt like she was trying to move as slowly as humanly possible and daring the long line of people to say something. Valet parking needed upon arrival. Ample seating when we arrived but for larger parties, we were placed in another part of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very lively and the background music is eclectic-from jazz to r&b and hip hop. Chantel our server provided great service and we had a robotic server deliver our meal. The salmon was moist, delicious and reasonably seasoned. The greens had a tart vinegar flavor and the yams tasted extremely sweet-no dessert needed. Sampled all the desserts as well. The ice cream had a creamy, rich vanilla flavor. The peach cobbler was delicious with a delicate cinnamon flavor. The sweet potato cake, red velvet and German chocolate cake was moist and delicious. Each piece had its own distinct flavor. Overall, great food and atmosphere! This was soul food at its best!
Food is ok at best. Service sucks. Working front staff have bad attitudes and act like they are put out when you order. No greetings or thank you. Just what do you want and then eye rolls.
Salad was pretty good. One dressing container is not enough.BUTThe airport really needs to do better!Employees are rude and obviously don't want to work!It was insanely busy due to weather delays so all the food establishments had lines to the escalators. There were 3 employees behind the counter and only one was working. The other 2 just stood there watching and one finally started to ring people up after the older lady said something.Kudos to the older lady working! She was doing her best while these other two did nothing.Management really needs to do better!!!It's ATL...the busiest airport in the US.???Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options including tofuKid-friendliness: Great way for kids to eat healthy at the airport!
Absolutely Horrible ! The employees are rude as hell . They’re always of out of ingredients , nothing looks or tastes fresh . Don’t waste waste your time or money .
If I can’t find one of these restaurants in Tucson, I will pay to have them send it to me. Best chicken and okra ever and my family is from Alabama!
