The Pine Inn - Concord

I've come here many a year now with my soccer buddies. Why? Well, after a tough game expending hundreds of calories, and living on tight budgets, the Pine Inn is the perfect place to get a huge meal for a tiny price. I've lived in Sydney my whole life and have yet to find a place that can meet the Pine Inn's quantity to price ratio. In saying that, however, the food itself is average and you do get that same feeling after eating KFC. I would recommend for a dirty filling feed with a budget as tight as my mate Graem's, but would not recommend for a dining experience.

A client took me to The Pine Inn for a cheap budget lunch recently. I didn't think much of the appearance of the place but we ordered 1 x Lamb chops with chips & salad ( with mushroom sauce)1 x Calamari with chips and salad The meals are all $11.80 and they are huge, i'm a big eater and it surprised me.It was prepared quickly and it tasted brilliant. So if you don't mind the decor and just want a great meal at very good value....this is the place. Parking around the back . Enter through Burton street. I've been twice now and the pork or the kransky dishes are incredible.I will be back this week for sure.

Ate here yesterday for lunch, I ordered fish, large plate of food, fish looked fishy, took one bite......... Fish batter was burnt, the fish itself was chewy and old and tartare was disgusting. Could not take another bite so I tried my husbands steak, the mushroom sauce was not mushroom sauce terrible, so I ordered another sauce creamy garlic sauce, they charged me $6, because they needed to add prawns so I thought ok whatever, took long for me to wait for sauce and hello.... A disappointment, sauce was filled with chopped up onions and watery . Tasted my sons lamb chops it was cold and hard like they cooked it early morning, left in oven and served cold . Tables & chairs were filthy, place smelt, music playing loud annoying, never going back. I know it's pub food and cheap but me and 8x others all agreed it was a disappointment, they do not know how to cook what a joke.

Good pub food and very affordable. The meals are huge and there are vegetarian options available. However their wine selection is not good.

Been here a couple of times and will still come here. I get a good value for my money for steak. I get a full plate and a full belly after.
