We went there to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary, and it was quite disappointing. The food was served lukewarm, and the shrimp scampi was essentially boiled shrimp on top of a bowl of linguine soup. When I asked for a bowl to drain the excess liquid, the waitress claimed that the chef said it was not water, but rather white wine and butter. While that might be acceptable to some, it wasn't accurate. As someone who has prepared this dish many times as a chef, I've never encountered a situation where I've had to pour out two cups of liquid from my plate. In fact, when the waitress first brought it to us, she remarked that it was "really soupy." That dish should never have been served in that state. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise anyone who visits to avoid the shrimp scampi.

The fish fry was quite disappointing. It’s cod instead of haddock and has a mushy texture on the inside. I visited on Friday after reading some positive local reviews, but they must have been written by friends of the owner or something. I genuinely don't get it; this might be the worst fish fry I've ever had. Additionally, the greeter and waitstaff seem inexperienced. They look at you as if they’re uncertain whether they even work there.

The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and it's a perfect place to stop for snowmobiling!
