We had dinner here, but this is also where you can book the “navette”, or local mini bus which takes up to eight passengers at a time into Porto Vecchio and a f... read more We had dinner here, but this is also where you can book the “navette”, or local mini bus which takes up to eight passengers at a time into Porto Vecchio and a few other places. It is also where the gite is located, where you can camp, and have a drink! Kind of a one stop shop. Back to dinner: nice setting, with lots of outdoor tables as well as an inside dining room. There are a choice of three or four salads, as well as a pasta pesto for the vegetarians. Quite a few other choices for the omnivores, and a good dessert selection as well. Service was a bit slow but friendly. They could do with some more wait staff, but they did a good job considering how busy they were when we were there. From the end of the GR20, you need to walk into town, past the church, down the hill to get to this place. About 15 minutes walk.

The staff managed to serve us quickly even though there was a table of 20 hikers and other people. I recommend it.

The owners are super friendly and offer parking at a reasonable price for GR20 hikers. Don't be surprised: they keep the car keys with them in case of emergencies (fire, rescue operations on site, etc. . However, they handle this very seriously! No reason for skepticism. The beer and ice cream after the strenuous hike were excellent!
