The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, the service is great, and they have a wide-ranging wine list that caters to all budgets.
Well timed attentive service. Good humoured, friendly staff, a well thought out and perfectly cooked and presented menu. Made our new year's eve dinner a night to remember for all the right reasons. Lovely place located in a charming town. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.
We had intended visiting the restaurant but in these extraordinary covid 19 times we were lucky enough to be able to have a takeaway. The weekday meal provided was marvellous, for starters we shared a couple of dishes of crispy tiger prawns, for mains we had the seafood ragout, burger and coq au vin. Chocolate mousse and cheeses were also very good. Our only regret was that we hadn’t ordered more of the tiger prawns, they were delicious, must remember to double the order next time. The one suggestion we have is that they include a note to confirm what the lovely cheeses are, though we had a guess. The meal really lifted the current gloom for the evening. In these uncertain times it’s very important that we support such good places to eat.
This was our first time eating take out from this restaurant, what an amazing three course dinner we had. It was the best dinner we have had in a long time. The Prawns, Pasta, Chicken and the Sticky Toffee pud, the perfect ending. Also the home made tablet!! Just amazingly awesome. Well done to the Chef!
