However, any apprehension disappeared as soon as we stepped inside. Le Cinquième Element is a charming little restaurant with unique and conversation-inspiring decor, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Located in a town just 20 minutes from Coaticook, there is no pretentiousness here. Despite the down-to-earth feel, the dining experience is sophisticated. Featuring dishes like escargots, rabbit, and osso bucco on the prix fixe menu, the carefully crafted presentation enhances the overall dining experience. Priced at $30 for a three-course meal, the value is exceptional, making up for the lack of à la carte options. Our server, who may have also been the owner or chef, provided attentive and caring service, with a hint of charm. The highlight of the evening was when he noticed our candle had extinguished, offering a thoughtful and poetic message about love. This sentiment encapsulates the warm and inviting atmosphere of Le Cinquième Element.

They offer a lunch special for 15$ that is varied enough and quite satisfying. We were pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavours, the service and the atmosphere of the place. It is upbeat and humorous. We will definitely go back.
