Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Compton

I was excited to try the new owners food. Unfortunately no greens when I came. The mac was NOT good, it was gritty and curdled. The beans were dried around the edges like they had been microwaved and they were so thick. Them my mom came in a few days later and ordered catfish that was fried so HARD it was inedible. I mean it was hard as a rock. 18 bucks for 1 piece of hard fish. SMH. The ribs were good, hence the 2 stars.

Having to best time with great people, best barbecue experience Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Compton food was exceptional. Thank you 5 Stars.!

Definitely a good experience i had a pleasure of being waited on by sabrina she definitely knew her stuff, i thought she was the manager , sweet girl very pleasant and the food was amazing, definitely can not wait to go back, thanks to my experience Sabrina, i definitely will be coming back soon..........

The best part of my meal was the packaged brownie! What does that tell you? They took the term BURNT ENDS and ran with it! I couldn 't even chew them. They were burnt shoe leather. Kraft Mac and cheese hit better than their Mac. Don 't waste your money! $40 down the drain!

Food was just ok got the brisket baked potato and it was advertised to have tons of meat and I barely had any. I had more sour cream than meat and it didn't have the cheese sauce at all. Food was cold I had to warm it up when I got home. Ribs where seasoned good but not as tender as they could have been and my boxes where very dirty. I don't like my food served in containers that have food or sauce all over the outside. I didn't appreciate having to go home and melt my own cheese and make a cheese sauce for the potato that lacked meat. Like it said it was not great but it was not nasty either just ok. But it really was not worth 80 bucks.
