There are not a lot of options in San Carlos to eat - we were staying at a Bed and Breakfast but the food was expensive. We had an early dinner at Los Arcos. We had shrimp and fish tacos and grilled fish and they were good. I ordered guacamole. We also got chips and salsa which was good. The place seemed clean and the ladies running it where nice. Don't be in a hurry here - things are slow and that is the way it is..... View all feedback.

My husband had a shrimp cocktail and I had garlic shrimp. The food was just okay considering this is a shrimp processing port. The flies were really bad and the table cloths were dirty. View all feedback.

I don't think they can have competition in such a city... small place, simple but great food and friendly people. It's a place where you need to go when you're in San Carlos.

Our meal was good, but not special. We were disappointed to receive an incorrect bill. I had ordered fish and my husband had shrimp. The bill was for four orders of shrimp, no fish and appetizers which we did not enjoy. When I explained we...had the wrong bill, the server argued with me, insisting we had eaten two orders of shrimp each. I could not prove this is wrong because she had already removed our plates from our table.Due to my poor Spanish, I ask another diner to translate my concern. They affirmed that the server insisted we had four orders of shrimp and suggested we pay the bill and Yelp about it. I rejected this option. An older woman came from the kitchen and I asked, quantos camerons per plate? She responded, in spanish, six, seven or eight. My husband had been served six so I knew we only had one order. Then I wrote out a new slip for our meal and offered that amount plus a modest tip. The older woman told the server to accept my offered amount. I later learned the older woman is the owner.
