My family love getting our fish and chips here and we... read more This fish and chip shop has been a favourite during all our visits back to Manning over the last 20 years. My family love getting our fish and chips here and we have no motivation to try anywhere else if we are within 10k of this plaice. The staff are very friendly and the portions are generous and very well cooked, the fish being lightly battered and crispy and the chips are crisp, not oily. If you are there in summer before nightfall walk up Ley St to MacDougall Park and enjoy your purchase there as dusk sets in.

From the first time we grabbed a quick Sunday night fix I was impressed.This is our go to place since moving to the area 4 years ago. The quality is consistently fresh, clean and tasty! Never had a problem or bad experience in all the times we have been here this is a rare thing these days with the generally below average customer service we are all used to.Most times the guys will also throw in an extra piece of fish too which is a welcome surprise. We have tried others in the area but can't find one that delivers on quality and value like this one.Keep up the great work boys!
