Our Como has a village atmosph... read more This small cafe in Como, Sydney, is worth finding. The food is top class, Janelle makes great coffee, and it is comfortable cafe. Our Como has a village atmosphere and is picturesque. A nice walk to the Como Marina from here.

I went to this café for coffee this morning around 10 am on a Sunday. There were only 4 other tables occupied, so it was not even half full. I ordered 2 small c... read more I went to this café for coffee this morning around 10 am on a Sunday. There were only 4 other tables occupied, so it was not even half full. I ordered 2 small children's milkshakes and 2 regular coffees. The milkshakes came out right away, but 15 minutes later, a redheaded staff member was talking on her phone while a lady was waiting to order. I waited another 5 minutes before standing in line behind the lady to order. The staff member looked around the lady at me and when I asked politely if our coffee would take much longer, she responded rudely, saying she could either take the lady's order first or make my coffee and make them wait. I was taken aback by her attitude and chose to walk away while speaking with my partner. We decided to cancel the coffee order and I was given a refund with a half-hearted apology about being busy. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, especially considering I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. Despite enjoying the coffee in the past, I will not be returning to this café due to the rude and unprofessional service.
